Autism Services Program – Casual Behaviour Interventionist

Working within the Autism Services program the casual position will assist children to participate in the program activities of the child’s behavior plan as developed by an interdisciplinary team.

Start Date: Date to be determined (May/June 2022)
Hours: Must be available Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 5:15 pm.

.8 FTE Rehabilitation Assistant

We are looking for a .8 FTE Rehabilitation Assistant to join us! This position will work under the direction of the Therapy Program Supervisor and as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes PT, OT and SL-Ps. We serve preschool-aged children that have a variety of support needs. A diploma in Therapy or Rehabilitation Assistant from a recognized college or university is required, as well as some pediatric experience. Temporary 1.0 FTE Occupational Therapist

We are also looking for a Temporary 1.0 FTE Occupational Therapist to begin in the summer or fall of 2021. This staff member will work under the direction of the Therapy Program Supervisor and as part of an interdisciplinary team serving preschool and school-aged children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder or other support needs. A Degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for registration with COTBC is required, and RASP Certification is preferred. Pediatric experience is an asset. Salary and benefits are competitive as per the Paramedical Professional Collective Agreement.
