Autism Services – ages 13 – 19
The focus of the Over 13 Autism Program is primarily on skills for transition to adulthood. This can include independent living skills, social skills, employment readiness skills and increasing emotional knowledge of themselves and others. Social opportunities are presented in a group format and friendships are encouraged to continue into adulthood.
Sessions are offered at the NONA Clubhouse and in the community.
Once your teen starts our 13 – 19 Autism Program we will provide one weekly group session run by a Behaviour Interventionist (BI).
This also includes consultation from a Behaviour Analyst (BA) and the option of consultation from an Occupational Therapist as determined by your child’s team.
